Mental Health Case Manager

Key Qualifications

1. Minimum Education Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field and at least one year of experience working with people with mental illness
2. Excellent communication skills especially listening, mediation, and writing skills
3. Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to meet a demanding workload
4. Detail-oriented to complete requirements of files and contract compliance
5. Creative thinker
6. Knowledge or understanding of tenant’s rights and responsibilities as well as “best practices” case management, especially related to housing
7. Demonstrated knowledge of county social service agencies and community programs
8. Fluency in the English language is required. Spanish speaking is an added asset, but not required
9. Experience with computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office
10. Valid driver’s license and a car that is legally registered and insured
11. Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the population served
