The Housing Programs Coordinator oversees and manages housing-related services and programs in the Cabbage Hill neighborhood of Lancaster City to ensure that individuals and families have access to safe, affordable, and sustainable housing. This role involves coordinating with landlords, tenants, community organizations, and government agencies to address housing needs, assist households in accessing housing programs, and advocate for housing solutions.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, public administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housing coordination, property management, or social services.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, such as individuals experiencing homelessness, low-income families, or individuals with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with local housing resources, rental assistance programs, and government housing subsidies.
