First Time Homebuyers Class (Martin Library York)

$25.00Tenfold is hosting a First-Time Homebuyer Class on Thursday, June 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Martin Library, 159 East Market Street in York.
During this time, you’ll gain knowledge and perspective to help increase your understanding to:
- Determine if you are ready to buy a home
- Evaluate your personal credit history
- Know what to expect at a closing
- Develop a budget and savings plan
- Plan for life as a homeowner
- Decide how much you can afford to pay
- Prepare for financial decisions and obligations that come with buying and owning a home
- Know what to expect from real estate agents, lenders, and other professionals involved in the home-buying process
- Meet lenders’ training requirements to qualify for special mortgage products
Tickets are limited, and registration is required by June 1st!
This workshop is hosted by our Barshinger Financial Empowerment Center, a team committed to empowering people to unlock opportunities to navigate a new path forward to housing stability, homeownership, and wealth-building activities through educational and counseling services.
