How To Raise Money-Smart Kids

This workshop is designed for parents who want to help children develop the financial skills needed to survive and thrive as adults. Our intention is to give you something you can refer to in the future, and to provide the opportunity to think about what you’d like your child to learn about money. Raising money smart kids is about more than money. By teaching and reinforcing money skills, you raise children to be independent, balanced, able to use good judgment, and act responsibly within the family and in the community.
Imparting these skills does not require that a parent have any particular income level. Whether you are wealthy beyond belief or living on a fixed income and struggling to make ends meet, the money issues you’ll encounter with your children will often be the same.
Many of us did not learn financial literacy skills and concepts at home and have grown up learning by our own mistakes. We don’t want our children to suffer this same fate. This workshop will help you begin the process of raising money smart kids.
